Strange....I have replaced a few of the zerks on my front blower (2781A) and the sub-frame carrier bearings. It started when I couldn't get grease into the fittings. Upon removal of these 8mm zerks I found half to have no springs or balls and the other half to have the balls sitting below the top of the fittings. Replaced the zerks and they take grease like they should. Maybe it's just me ....I don't think it is my grease guns (have two) running too much or not enough pressure. Even used my hand gun with the same results.
Don't know if Kubota got a batch of bad zerks but if you have trouble greasing your equipment you might want to try replacing the zerks. Would be a shame to spin a bearing because the fittings were sub-standard. Just saying!
Another foot of snow predicted for today....bring it on!
