The links on my 3 pt hitch are dry and rusty. I usually squirt some oil on them but wonder about working in some grease. there are no zerks so zi would just rotate them around and apply as much grease as possible. Is this a good idea? What do others do about these ball type joints?

Are you talking about the ball joints where the attachment pins slide into? If so, I just hit them with fluid film every once in a while.

Thanks I will use fluid film. Much easier than grease.

Fluid Film from Kellsport Products

Once you have a can of this in your toolbox, you will thank me. Search their site for online dealers. It is the perfect application for your situation.

Same here, use fluid film on everything else on the tractor that needs a little lube, but no Zerk.

Gudday all, This sounds like a great product. Living on the coast rust is a problem. I have found a dealer in Qld. and will contact them ASAP. Thank you for all the info.
