gravely trencher

i recently bought a gravely 5200 with a trencher attatchment, i'm looking for an operators manual and parts manual for it, also i'm trying to find info on replacement engines for the k181 that comes on most 52-5600 series tractors , even consider an upgrade but i cannot afford a $1200.00 kohler replacement, i've been told that the blue chinese engines are not bad , but i'de rather buy good ole american if possible. Rebuild on two of these is out of the question, (i have three, two are 181's and one is a 301)as they are worn too much.So! which engines will swap with the least modifications? and which are truly worth the trouble? I'de appreciate the help

These are Chinese engines but Lifan has been making them for about 15 years some people like them.
It will cost about $300.00 to adapt the engines plus the engine.
