Gravely Residential ZTR's

Gravely Residential ZTR\'s

Has anybody seen these or know anything about them?? I looked at them at a local dealer yesterday and they look pretty good for the money ($2000 for a 32" cut and $3000 for a 42") They both have B & S engines which I'm not that crazy about but other than that they look pretty solid.

I haven't had any association with Gravelys in several years. I know they used to make bulletproof stuff but like everything else they are built a lot cheaper and lighter nowadays.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I can't specifically respond about the current ZTR Gravelys. Gravely is now owned by Airens. Still good stuff, but not as good as the old Gravely.

See if you can find a Country Clipper Dealer.

They are well-built and priced close to the prices you have. They feature a commercial grade welded steel deck with rebuildable cast iron spindles and the deck also flips up for easy maintenance. They also feature Kohler or Kawasaki engines(depends on model).
In our are a 38" (new model-Jazee one) is $2999 (16hp) and a 42"(Jazee) is $3999(17hp) a 20 hp Jazee is available for a couple hundred more.

Thanks fellas. Boy, that Country Clipper is one good looking mower. I like the one hand joystick and love the deck that raises to a vertical position for cleaning and changing blades.

I am trying to find a retailer down here but have had no luck so far.

From what I saw on their website I would much rather have it than the Gravely.
