Gravely 5200
Looking to find a engine to transmission plate for a 10 to 12 hp Kohler. I am in the process of a re-power on my 5200 and my 8 hp plate uses the 4 symetrical holes that are towards the middle. The 10 to 12 hp plate uses the 4 outside holes like you see in the pictures from Bruce on his adapter. If anyone knows where I can get one please let me know. Thanks

Well after 15 adapters off e bay and different places I could not fine any more.

I went and had 10 Re power Plates made from aluminum to take the place of the 10-16 re drilled Kohler adapter I was
using.

So now I can sell for about $60.00 ea.

Very nice, Bruce. I'm not sure what I'm looking at in the 2nd photo. It looks like there are ridges running througout the plate. Can you explain what this is? Thanks.

It is just end mill cuts .
They run it on a mill instead of a lathe.
This picture is the 1st one we made
The bolt holes where off a bit
These are for the Model L & C machines
When I re power
I also made some support brackets to go from.
The next to the bottom bolt on the transmission.
To the engine oil pan bolt hole

That way you could use the 8 hp
Kohler adapter plate for re power.
We had used up about 20 of the 10 -16 HP adapter plates.
So they have become hard to find.
