Tripped over a used Gravely 250 a coupla days ago at the tractor dealer. 50" cut, Kawasaki 601V, 500hrs. The sticker with the motor model# was torn so that's all the numbers I could positively ID. The story was that some older gent had bought it new and used it on his property only.
Dealer says he'd take $2000 for it. I've got 1.5 acres now and we're looking at a 4ish acre plot with trees and open ground mixed. A good bit of mowing. Just tryin to get the best value for the money and don't wanna end up with a lemon or poor value. All that hydraulic work down around the deck made me a skosh nervous. Looked like a lot to go wrong.
