I read this forum every day, i have learned alot from all of you...i dont post much .but i have a question .i am puting a grapple on my loader forks...i have never hooked anything to my extra outlets ...i plan on runing the lines from the back of the tractor to the front,,and connect with quick coplers.. what size line should i use ?? and what kind of quick copplers should i use ? i am going to have only one cylinder... thanks for all the help ..Bruce

You can use 1/4" hose for your grapple, and the couplers should match what you have on the tractor now, maybe your dealer can help you identify the type of couplers you have.

1/4" hose will give you just enough restriction to slow down the motion of the grapple to a controlable speed. Any good hydraulic shop will be able to macth 1/4" hose fittings with your tractor's remote couplers.

Hernando- I'm interested in that same setup with a grapple on the forks, my spring project. Please keep us informed. I also plan to use my rear remotes, as I already have 1/4" lines up to the loader crossframe for the power angle on the snowplow. Do you have a design, or a source for the grapple? What are you planning to grab?
