Hmmm. well, now that I'm back in my chair after the "stick shock" of what the Addington and Anbo rakes go for now (they are about the same, even with shipping from WA for the Anbo), I'm starting to look at other options.
I really liked the idea of the hardened steel in the Anbo and Addington (AN 400 I believe).
I'm rather tempted by the WR Long setup- I had a nice chat with them this morning, and apparently they use hardened steel for the "teeth" that go into the ground, but not the upper tines. They have seen a few bent upper tines, but only in the thinner steel, not anything that is part of the structure.
Any thought from those of you that have them, on whether this is a good compromise ("medium" cost for some hardened steel parts). The really cheap E-bay ones of a similar style I don't find that tempting-they are all much heavier (800lbs for a 60"!), and have no hardened steel.
Thank you as always!
