Which One do you want to know about?
We have received a lot of positive feedback from customers with subcompact tractors who have purchased our EA 50" Wicked Grapple.
If you have a subcompact tractor, give our lightweight grapple a serious look. There's nothing else on the market like a Wicked Grapple.

The capability of your little tractor may surprise you!

The lid is 30" wide and it opens up to 30".

The included removable lower slats are held on by carriage bolts.
Grapple weight is 274 pounds with the slats installed and only 255 without.
Spacing is 10" without slats and 5" with them installed.

Multiple serrations on the lid for a gripping bite.

Serrated and laminated end tines are designed to easily be pushed through the ground for rock/root removal.
Most other grapples have bulky triangular gussets that will only hold you back.
Notice the round pipe across the leading edge, which will glide along the ground and serve as a depth gauge for grubbing roots.

AND, if you upgrade in tractor size, this same grapple can go with you to a much larger tractor. I use this same grapple on my DK35se. And while my tractor is probably on the high end or even over the weight class that EA would recommend for this grapple, I haven't torn up mine yet.:) It has been pretty handy. I have moved some pretty large cedar logs with it. Unfortunately I don't have any photographs of that.

Great pics James. Putting one on a tractor like yours doesn't scare me considering it's track record for the 2 1/2 years we've been making the little grapple.
The brand new ones are virtually the same as the first ones!

How long have you had yours, James?

I knew you were one of the earlybirds!

Walter in Missouri says the Wicked Grapple is his most used attachment. He's played, uh...worked, with it on his 1025R for 2 years.

Ted has definitely abused it. All of the tractor's weight is on the lid, which is partially open.

IF one is to go the pin-on route versus SSQA do you have list of tractors you can do pin-ons?
And any video of swapping a bucket for a pin-on?

I don't really have a list compiled, but I could tell someone if we could do it or not if they supply their loader model#.

No videos of swapping pin on buckets....It would probably be a constant beeping of curse words!

On a more serious note, swapping a subcompact tractor bucket shouldn't be too bad because the attachments are lightweight. Still not quick and easy like SSQA.

We do have a BX on the way to use for videos, so a swapping video is a good possibility.

The only experience with pin on I can shed any light on was taking off and putting on the pin on attachment for an L3400 Kubota. When I changed to SSQA with this machine I had to unpin the stock bucket and pin on the SSQA adaptor. There were two of us doing it, it took about 5 minutes, and was a major PITA in my opinion. Sure we accomplished it, and no one was hurt, and I remember saying "I am glad that is the last time in my life I will have to do that". Your Milage May Vary, but I was very glad to never have to screw around with pin on again, and hook up in seconds with SSQA instead of minutes. Pin on is just no fun. Just say no.
