I'm considering a grapple for my Kubota B3200. I've spent considerable time with Jeremy at Everything Attachments discussing options. I want a grapple to remove Autumn Olive bushes and brush and then transport to piles, as well as a variety of other moving chores.
I'm considering 2 options:
1) W.R. Long OBG2, either a single or 2 lid
2) Everything Attachments Wicked Grapple

Neither will fit the 'Quick Connect' on my B3200. I either have to have the OBG2 ordered with a custom mount or change my FEL to a Universal Skid Steer plate for the Wicked. I am also concerned about weight of these grapples (both around 400+- lbs).

I have to add a third function, etc.

I would appreciate anyone with experience in adding a grapple to a B3200 (or anything at all about grapples) in sharing what you've learned. Is my Kubota up to even using a grapple?

Thanks.
Stephen

Just choose a grapple with the lowest weight. Like the EA single lid. Sure you are going to lose some with going to SSQA, but you gotta do what you gotta do. It will still be usefull to lift large logs and rocks. Brush will be not be a problem, it doesn't weigh much, it is just bulky.

The ETA 50" single lid grapple is 274 pounds with the intermediate slats installed and 255 with the slats out, so that is as good as it gets when it comes to the strength/weight ratio. The CT122 Bobcat in the video is smaller(HP) than the B3200, but the lift capacity is pretty similar.

The WR Long QA Adapter weighs around 125 pounds and the ATI hits the scales at 78 for the LA504.

My scenario for you would be the 50" Wicked Grapple, ATI QA Adapter and 3rd function kit.

I've had the WRLong OGB2 single lid with their electric over hyd. On my B3200 for 18 months. I have the Kubota quick attach and ordered the grapple to match.
I couldn't be happier.

If you have Pallet Fork here is a grapple I got. It side on the forks. Fast to take on/off. Much cheaper.

I have EA's single lid 50" on my B3300. Couldn't be happier. Got the WR Long 3rd function from them as well. The addition of this functionality has improved the value of the tractor tremendously!

I've got the WR Long OBG2 48" single lid. I previously had installed the Kubota B1658 pin type QA adapter and the OBG2 that I got had the pin type mount. I use the grapple to plow through dirt to break it up, push through brush for clearing, and pick up and move logs out of the woods. It's about the same width as the front end of the tractor and can get into some pretty tight places. It only takes a couple of minutes to switch between the grapple and bucket with the QA. EA is a great place to deal with and you can save some money if you buy the grapple and valve kit together. You might even qualify for free shipping. If you want to get the Kubuta QA, you need to ask the salesperson at the dealer. The parts guys don't sell them.

Good Luck,
