grand L3560 price

merry Xmas guys! been looking at the cab L3560 or L4060, currently have b3000hstcc and want a wider wheel base. got 60hrs on my 3000 but dealer says $20000.00 for mine and $37,800 for the L3560 and $39000 for the L4060, all prices include fel. just poking around and want to know what everyone thinks about the prices. thx tony

I have been pricing the "60"series for a friend.Your quoted prices are about list.All depends if you consider his trade price for your current tractor is fair.Their are a few "40" series around(NY) ,I may try to get a dealer trade going.With the new series there is a price jump for tier 4.You may want to try a few dealer options to sweeten the deal.

got an email from dealer, they up my trade in to $22000 and have to trade to bigger rear blower for $1000. now im going to start workin them on price for the L3560, let the games begin!!!

Tony, did you try Messicks or Barlows? I saw on one of your other posts asking if any of the L40's are available. I'm guessing since they aren't made anymore it will be getting tougher to find one so if you do you might want to get it asap.

Is the HST whining noise in your B3000 causing you to move up to a larger tractor? I've learned to live with the noise (meaning I can't afford to move up to a HST+ tractor) but the HST+ transmission is so much better then the standard HST. Good luck in your search. Stanley

I am pretty sure that Messicks said that they still have a few Grand L 40 series. Don't think sizes were mentioned though. Need to call.

Really gotta be careful in these negotiations. The lines become very gray. I'd wanna do a "Build your own", minus 15% on Kubota's website so I knew what the new tractor's REAL price is. Then work on what I thought mine was worth. Keep us posted!!!

I never got a Kubota dealer down to 15% off "list" price. 10% - 12% (depending on the dealer) was the best I could do.

Not going to say it's always possible, but 15% is a good starting place here. Bought my M9540 for 17% under.

FWIW- I suggest going with the 40 HP. I have a 4240 HST w/cab, and with A/C on, moving about, and lifting the FEL at the same time you need lots of flow-- aka HP. I would have gone with the 57, but got a steal on the 42. Great tractor and always trying to find a reason to use it
