I have been undecided for while between the B2910 and the Grand L3130. You TBNers have helped me a lot.

So after thinking about it now for a couple of days, it seems that the L3130 would be the best fit for me.

My dealer has given me the following price quote.

Grand L3130 HST, 4wd
R4 industrial tires, not filled
LA513 Loader with 66" HD round back bucket,
Toothbar, Quick attach, inc front brush guard
tractor set up and delivery included (70 miles),
and a free hat!

$19,000.00

Can anyone tell me if this is about right? Any feedback would be welcome!

Thanks alot to everyone! (And Henro, too. He said, "Maybe the best B2910 set up would be a L3130..." in a previous post. Hmmm, I liked that!

I bought a L3830 HST about a year ago with the primary difference between it and your configuration being the loader. I ordered the HD bucket and LA 723. If we took out the TnT I got and say backed out $2000 for the difference in the machines sizes which really comes down to different engine and bigger tires, I would have easily gotten the L3130 HST for less and still had a LA 723 instead. My only comment would be to see if you can't work in the LA 723 w/HD bucket instead. Why? Because you get a greater dump angle and even more important a greater rollback angle besides the obvious higher lift and higher loader height performance. I like having a higher rollback because it allows you to easily load the bucket more fully with the loader down. It also allows you to carry your load lower without the material falling out. Having a greater dump angle is also useful for those times you need to help unstick a stuck tractor. Your setup sounds great otherwise. The loader comes off very, very easily so having a little larger loader is never an issue if you don't need it. Mine goes on and off many times. Rat.

I bought nearly the same thing you are looking at, two weeks ago.
L3130HST 4WD
R4 tires, not filled.
LA513 loader w/ standard 66” bucket.
Front brush guard.
No tooth bar or quick attach.
Set up and delivered.
But I got two hats so you might want to re-negotiate for another hat. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I too was torn between. the 2910 and L3130. I got to try em both yesterday. The L3130 just feels right. I think maintaining my 3/4 acre pond was a big factor in deciding. The dump, roll angle, and power of the 723 loader is quite impressive. The model I tried was a GST and I really liked it. I was equally impressed with the performance of the 72" MMM setup. For a tractor this size with R4's, it was surprisingly gentle on the grass.
I'm going back Monday to talk $$$ and see how I do with trading the BX2200. I'll keep you tuned

For the price difference the L3130 is definently the way to go unless for some reason you need the smaller physical size of the 2910. If you see the two side by side you will see that the 3130 is a lot more tractor, for not a lot more money. I'm not at all saying the 2910 is a bad tractor. It is a great little tractor if you want the smaller size.

Also just bought a L3130 3 weeks ago
L3130F
4wd HST
R4 tires non-filled
LA723 loader w/66" quick-attach bucket
grill guard
1 kubota hat
18,500.00 delivered
(I would also recommend the bigger 723 loader)

I would too. I don't think it was too big a price difference when I got mine, but it seemed like a much more capable loader.

I just recently took delivery of a 3430 GST with 513 loader/quick attach bucket and r-4's for 16,700. HST was 300 more and the 723 loader was 500 more. I chose the 513 because it is a little more compact on the front and i have to work in some tight places. Otherwise I would choose the 723. The dealer also delivered the equipment set up and ready to go, including welding chain hooks on the bucket. Good luck, these are great tractors.
