Grand L 3540 taking out battery

Hello and thank you in advance. I'd like to know if anybody has any directions on how to remove a battery from a grand l3540. I see the retaining bar but it does not seem like the battery will come out by just taking off the retaining bar. Any input would be greatly appreciated thank you.

At least on my L4240;the grill/headlight assembly is just two wing nuts and lifts out of the way;then easy access to the battery.

You’ll need to unplug the headlights, look at the negative battery cable, my l3240 cable looked like an extension cord so when I got the new battery I got a larger gauge cable with a lead connector. It starts much better when cold, i also found the bottom hose on the oil cooler was wet had to tighten the clamp and washed out the cooler since I had full access, just a thought.
