We are prepping the dirt behind the house to be seeded for a new lawn but need to build a proper slope to the existing dirt. Would this be possible using an ATV with a plow blade? The dirt is loose from tilling and seems pretty easy to work with. Any other suggestions, I'd like to avoid any "heavy" machinery due to sprinklers and fences. Only doing about a 1/4 acre at this time.

I've tried it and it doesn't work very well at all. What happens is the dirt will normally make the blade fold over when going forward. IT may work backdragging but you'd be better off just renting a skid steer or having a friend with one or a FEL on a CUT to come over and do it.

Not the best excuse for justifying a plow blade, but if it works.....go for it :D
