Hello
I have a Kohler Command 20 (CH20S) on a Lincoln Welder (Ranger 8). Has 250 hrs. Hasn't been used for about a year. Always started well till now. Noticed the sun had gotten to the fuel lines so I replaced them. Started and ran great for about 20-30 mins. when I saw what I thought was oil coming out around the stud that holds the governor assembly. Checked the oil and found it to have fuel in it. Carb is good so I checked the diaphragm of the valve-cover-mounted fuel pump and found it to be bad. Going to replace that assembly ($ ouch) and the crankcase breather/gasket under the carb, as well as change out the oil. My question is, will the leak around the governor stud go away or will I have to replace some sort of seal inside? The stud has a little up and down play in it (about 1/16"). Don't know if that is normal or not. Any help/advice would be most appreciated. Thanks
