Ford 4000 Governor linkage part needed

I havent been on here in a long time. My governor linkage on my 63 Ford 4000 gas 4 cylinder needed adjustment. The threaded rod was frozen to the clevis on the end. Penetrating oil and a torch did no good loosening it for over a week, so I ended up wringing it off at the threads. I see I can order the rod online, but the only clevis with the female threads I can find online is plastic. Does anyone know where I can find a fair-priced metal one? Who has experience with the plastic one? Any input? I dont have the shop or skills to fix and reattach the old one. Help!?

Ok, so not much interest I see. Anyhoo, I found another size (1/4 inch, instead of the 3/16 inch that was original) rod from a rotting old Ferguson 30 tractor owned by a church friend, and hacksawed the mismatched ends off and am getting them lap welded this week. Won稚 look original, but it should work. Don稚 have time to wait to find an original on eBay, etc. Can稚 believe this item is not available in old tractor parts catalogs in the right original size.
