Called Travis at Everything Attachments last Thursday after studying their website, watching all the videos, looking at everybody else's rotary cutters and decided to order one. I wanted a 60" for my JD 2032 which he confirmed would be a good fit. I expected a number of weeks wait, but he said he thought he had one like I wanted, with a slip clutch, but it was in Orange. I told him I'll take it, he laughed about the color combination, and I picked it up this afternoon at the local Yellow Freight terminal about twenty minutes away. Got it home ok and unloaded. Didn't get a chance to hook it up yet, but I will in the next day or so. Nice people to deal with.

Let us know how it works, looks great. People tend not to think of some EA attachments. Glad you did.

I think I might be closer. I hate for you to drive all that way just to do a good deed. I will get it for you.

Im Only a couple hrs away...I'll take it.

Just hope the tractor don't get jealous of the color and give you fits.

You might want to consider painting the tractor to match. Orange paint will probably make the tractor run better too;)

Newbie question. So you order a 1000 lbs bush hog and they put it on your trailer at the freight terminal. How do you get it off the trailer at home? Pick it up with the 3 point? What if it's forward of the axle and your tractor is too heavy for the trailer?

Been wondering and saw an opportunity to ask.

Thanks!

Back in the day when I didn't have the equipment I do now whenever I had that situation I would pull under a large tree branch. Winch up the load on the branch and drive out from under it. Then lower it to the ground.

Chain it to the bucket and use it to lift it out of the trailer or to lift it enough to drive the trailer out from under it.
One reason to have chain hooks welded to the bucket. Go slow, be careful and don't put any body parts under it.

If you don't have a loader you could use the tractor and a chain or rope to slide it backwards on the trailer until you can get the 3pt on it.

When I got home, I used a 20' tow strap that I keep on the tractor. Just happens to fit in the black plastic tube on the rops bar. I have a pair of Kens bolt on hooks on the top of my bucket. Ran the strap through the front brace for the upper link and through the back brace for the wheel. Wrapped it around each to use up the extra length of the strap then fastened the strap around the hooks. Lifted it off the trailer and lowered it onto the two 4 x 4's that were part of the shipping pallet.
Another method I could have done was back the trailer into my shop building and use the engine hoist to lift it off the trailer.
