Went out to a guys house to level a spot for a portable outbuilding. I should have known how it was going to end up when he gave me wrong directions to his house, twice. I got there only to find a pretty flat area to start with. He had not called for underground utilities , so I said I was only willing to remove the sod. I pushed the sod in a pile and started to level it a little. He then said he would like me to work on the high spot. I moved the pile of sod. I am working around a tree at each end, a fence and a pile of lumber. He then decided that it was too close to the tree and needed to be moved about 10 feet in one direction. It was exactly where I had piled the sod. I moved the sod pile and started to back drag. I ended up with a high spot on the end with the tree. The only way to work it out required moving the sod pile a third time. I worked it out as best I could, told the guy he didn't owe me a penny and got out of there. What would have normally taken 30 minutes and been super simple took 2 hours and 15 minutes and it still was not anything I was proud of. I guess you get one like this from time to time.
