Just purchase a CS-1 chipper shredder that included the blower attachment. It is missing the 1.5" grate or weldment. Would you know if the chipper can be used with out this grate? I know I would need it to use the shredder. It seems Goossen/ Harper did make the same unit for other manufactures, any one know the other? If seemed the blades were dull so I removed the four knifes and have sent them to be sharpened.
