Kioti nx6010 loader backhoe
Asked before but need help with new trailer setup. Looking at getting a gooseneck tilt 22 or 24 footer or a gooseneck deckover with 20+5 hydraulic dove. Im hauling my kioti NX610 cab. Sometimes I mite have to put the backhoe on. The tilt and hydro dove are around the same price. Im still trying figure out how it will be loading with the tilt trailer. Anybody with a gooseneck tilt load any equipment and can tell me if they like it or hate it? Im not sure the machine with the backhoe will get onto the tilt with out hitting in the back. My old trailer was a deck-over 20+5 dove and just barry made it without hitting the backend. I got sick off trying to get the ramps up and down on uneven terrain, and also the rear bottoming out on everything, Thats why I'm looking at a flat deck style. Any help will be appreciated

Do you need the width of a deckover? Lower decks between the wheels aren't as apt to drag things like backhoes when loading.

I'd prefer a hydraulic dove over a tilt personally. With a hydraulic dove not being the primary load bearing components, the maintenance needs would be less.

Back the tractor on to prevent dragging.

I think he just meant with a fixed dove tail hanging down, it drags much more often than a flat tailed trailer. In Indiana you don't have that problem as often because your land is a lot flatter than PA. Many times when making a turn onto a hill the tail will drag no matter how you load it, or even if it is unloaded.

Have you considered a gooseneck rollback trailer?

Several companies make them, here is one: Rollback Trailers, Tilt Trailers & Heavy Car Haulers in Texas | Kwik Load Trailers

The trailer axles are back farther than a same length tilt trailer. Less rear overhang to deal with.

Have you actually looked into any of the hyd dove trailers? Reason I'm asking, I researched them extensively and all the research shows the shorter one I could find is around 32'. With that, the last 10' are the hyd dovetail. They can generally all lift 10k and up but you can transport 4K from at the midpoint if I remember right. I seriously considered it for my 100hp and batwing but was concerned about the weight rating for the dove. It didn't help that I found a great deal on a 30k 35+5 and got monster ramps.

The trailers I was seeing were atleast 8-10k lb range too. Seems like a lot of trailer for what your wanting but it's a nice feeling when you know you have more than enough trailer for what you have. Don't forget the elec/hyd disc brakes

Rustyshakelford, Bwise you can get a gooseneck 20+5 foot hydro dove tail. Loadtrail makes a 20+6 hydro dove tail. That's what I would like to get but they are around the $10,000 range and I can get a great deal on a tilt trailer. The little I have to move my machine around I could live with the tilt, just not sure how well my machine will load on it. Never used a tilt before

I just looked at Bwise and can't find it. Think about angles. When you have a deck over trailer, a 5' ramp would be way to steep. That's why they are 10'. The bwise listed the 5' dovetail standard and the 10' hyd dove as an option. I like the true hyd dovetail trailers but they are pricey. Unless the entire deck tilts, it would be a hard trailer to fit a lot of things on. The ones I've seen, only the back portion will tilt and the front have is stationary.

The Bwise 20+5 foot hydro dove tail is new and not on there site yet. Call a local dealer they can help. I was told around $9500 to order on. I can get a 22 full tilt gooseneck with 8k axle upgrade for around $7850

I converted a bed-over trailer to tilt bed in 2007 but will not ever again. When driving empty the bed is rattling on the tongue despite being clamped down. When i rebuilt my own trailer i put it on 195/50r13C tires rated 900kg each, to allow a deck height of 63cm or 2 foot. Then 2.5 meter ramps stored in a drawer behind the license plate and foldable jackstands on the rear. It is the perfect multipurpose trailer for me, with perfect handling both empty as well as with a 3 ton load behind my Volvo.
