Google Adwords

Sitting in my chair looking to increase business I found adwords. I signed up and will monitor for the next few months to see what happens.

After searching on TBN I found no topics on adwords and thought I would see if anyone else uses them, and what experiences they have.

SO!!!!!!!!(<remember polecat )does it work. Or is it a hole to put money that you can't get back.

Thanks for the compliment on the site. We just did a few updates in the last month or so to bring it up to date. Affinity does a good job for a fair price on our website, as well as my newspaper ads layout. It has been on line for a little over a year now, and is an important part of our advertising(don't know how you can not have one ). The adword is just something I decided to try and see what response we would get. I am targeting only our local area within 60 miles. The keywords and phrases are not that common and should help keep the costs down. This time of year I have more time to play with these things and monitor/change what's necessary on a daily bases. Some people say it is great and some say not. The only way to find the things that work is to try a lot of different things, and pick what works for you. I didn't expect a lot of responses to this thread as most people here are tractor owners and not necessarily self employed using adwords. Though there seems to be every type on this site with opinions on everything from tractors to toothbrushes .

Wow! Very impressive website. It has it all, and easiliy navigated. If I could make enough to pay for a site like that I would be happyJ/K. This is a step into uncharted waters for me and I will have to see what happens. Thanks for the input.
