Price Check Good price for B2710 HSD?

Looking to upgrade, and found a '99 B2710 HSD with bucket and box scraper with 43 hours on it. What would be a fair price for this outfit?

I have a 2001 with the same setup. Ag tires, kubota front end loader and a Landpride box blade. I paid 15,800 for the tractor and loader, new. The box blade was $500 more. Then there were the taxes. 43 hours is like new. I don't know what it's worth on the used market, but hopefully the information I gave you will help you. If the price is close to new, consider buying a new one. They have some sweet deals on financing right now.

I would really question the hours. This is not feasible to have these few hours being 5 years old.

It's probably worth asking about but I wouldn't sweat it. My neighbor has a '00 Mahindra and 11 acres which he cuts about 4-5 acres of 2-3 times a year and 1-2 acres monthly. Not to mention using the box blade to level dirt and a backhoe that has dug several water lines and he only has about 107 hours on it.

The owner has it priced at $12K, and I was trying to find out if this is about right. The tractor looks REALLY clean in the pic, so the number of hours seem right, given the absence of dirt, scratch marks, etc.

I recently got the same equipment, with 73 hrs, on eBay for $13,000. Almost like new when it arrived, just used as a mower from the looks of it. No PTO hours. Quite satisfied with it.

I was looking at the same one you were. He has dropped the price from 12,500. Might go lower? looks like a great machine. I have decided to go a little larger.

I'm a little confused...

Was it an ebay item? Just curious how the guy who says he bought it, actually found it otherwise...

I suppose it would be wise not to post a potential great tractor deal here until after one makes the deal himself though...
