Good morning TBN!!!
Warming up already. 75 going in to humid 90s.

Didn't do much yesterday.
Went to HF and got their Ultrasonic cleaner at 15% off. Also some alphabet punches and Evapo-rust.
Filled it with water and gathered a couple of jars. Will find something nasty to put in it today and check it out.
Got a call when we got back that my nephew died. Hard to deal with as he was the same age as my oldest that died in Nov. Very sad. Both were only 44

Nothing for today. have to find out if we are going to Ohio or Florida or both.

Time for a second cup
Everyone have a great and SAFE day!!

Good Morning to All who Celebrate! Currently 80° going to a high of 91°. It's "Close" as my maternal grandfather would have said, hot and humid.

Spent most of the long weekend doing as little as possible. Nephew came down and had a triple threat: He had a cold, teeth coming in and sleep regression. So he wasn't the agreeable baby like last time. That being said, he still had some good times in the pool with GG and Grandpa. Mom and Dad however, looked pretty exhausted. When great grandma showed up for some steamed crabs on Saturday, both of them were napping. I let them sleep and we had a good time and they caught up on some much needed sleep.

They lit out on Sunday with a Motrin'd up little dude snoozing in the back seat. I bet they broke some land speed records trying to get him home before that wore off.

I just did some mowing on Sunday, mainly just recovered from recovering. :p

I'll probably follow up with some trimming out front again, this weekend I have "Friendsgiving" up at my campground owning friend's house. His eldest sister is a chef, and he somehow conned her into making the meal, so I'm sure this will be enjoyable. I'm currently in the process of bribing my mother for an apple pie to take. If I cooked something myself, it would only anger her for messing up her kitchen and I'm sure I'd end up with something inedible. (One of my jokes is "Step one: Boil water. What am I, a chemist?!?")

Otherwise, just taking the week as it comes. Still need to look at that trailer out near Manheim, PA. I'll get there at some point, it's just not a priority.

Buppies, special prayers for you and Holly. I really hope this downwards trend doesn't continue.
Just awful flooding in Texas. Glad everyone here made out Ok. Really a shame about those campers. I can't even imagine a river rising so rapidly, it boggles the mind. Reminds me of reading about the Johnstown flood, at it's peak, the Little Conemaugh River, in that flood reached the same throughput as the Mighty Mississippi at the delta.

Prayers for all Ailing and Recovering!
Y'all stay safe out there and be well! Especially in this heat!

roses doing quite well for their first year
hydrangeas in front of house are about ready to bloom, huge white flowers,
they actually can be cut and used as dry flowers. I need to get a string out there to hold them back
against railing, they get too heavy and simply keel over making a mess.

warm and really sticky out there.

83.1F and Sunny @ 10:00, calling for a high of 83F for the day.

Cloud cover should be on the rise as the front makes its way towards us.

Calling for rain around 14:00, with a slight risk of severe weather/storms.

Got loose ends tied up and things put away last night before it got dark, also hose repair done on soaker hose.

Did some trimming on indeterminate tomatoes until I could no longer see what I was doing. Now have tomatoes on the vine.

Down to only 3 curcubits left to plant: 1 Zucchini, 1 Waltham Butternut, 1 Strawberry Crown.

Beyond that, plant-wise, only the Hungarian Wax peppers and the remaining tomatoes are left to go in the ground.

Still need to plant some wax beans though.

Probably head around back and see what I can get done here in a few before the rain gets here.

Hope everyone is having a decent Monday.

Good Morning! 77˚F heading to the mid 80s, light rain - 0.2 since midnight, we are under another flash flood watch till 7pm as is the area where they are trying to find the missing.

Texas flood death toll is over 80 now with still dozens missing will probably surpass 100. They found the bodies of 2 of the missing in our town, still one missing.

70°F and .43 inches rain

1st task is attempt repair of my air fryer. Suspect it is the thermal resistor. Had this happen with 1st one a few years ago. They refunded my money under warranty and I bought this one. Then I found the fix on YT. Replace the thermal resistor in power line. I have a small box of them.

Tractor radiator hose tracking shows it in Honolulu with delivery for today.

Sophie says we need make a town run.

Happy Hour via Zoom this afternoon, hopefully touch base with mainland folks

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

North Bay trip all done. Hwy 11 down to one lane both directions at a bridge south of NB. My company is doing the micro-surfacing trip on 11 both directions, cut the south bound down to one lane for about 3 miles or so, but moving right along at the limit for a construction zone. 80 km/h or 50 mph.
Picked up 90 more goobers at the dope store. Some $50.oo word that I cannot pronounce, nor spell. It is my bedtime pill. If I wasn't a senior it would cost me $32.80, but seeing as I am an old fart it only cost$ me $6.11.

The mosquitoes here are brutal! I don't dare open my mouth, or I would eat quite a few of them. There is next to no wind, that is why. The dragon flies that are around are quite small ( 1" long), but not for long.

The next windy day we get I will take the lid off the dug well and fish out the snakes.

Got some fresh Ontario strawberries and am going to see if my cat will eat them.

If I can assure it I will post it.

They did get a 2nd bigger truck and another cargo trailer filled The churches are also collecting and now from the overwhelming responsive they are saying don't bring any more. The bottleneck is the distribution.

All this donated stuff and it was by word of mouth nothing was on the internet that I saw, but I'm not on facebook
