Buying Advice Good Dealer in Central-West Central IL

From what Ive been reading on here, it seems dealers play a huge roll with Warranty or service work.
So I have to ask, regardless of what brand tractor, can someone recommend a good dealer say within 100 Mi of Springfield, IL who doesn't jack you around, decent prices and perform good repairs? Looking to purchase another tractor, 50=55HP open station.

used/new? budget? 2wd/4wd, might help narrow down a dealer - i tend to lean towards google searches because it seems if someone has had a bad experience they will sure blast it online - and then you can weed through that stuff and kind of get an idea, i also have done some research by calling the dealership and see how they treat u over the phone and leave a message and see if they call back, if the don't call me back that's not a good sign - or if you get the run around etc......try the local parts store, like napa, etc..... they always seem to know the locals and will talk to you - nowadays you wont last long if you don't do a descent job because there are so many ways to get the word out just my 2 cents

I got my Kubota at a company called Birkeys. They have several locations in central Illinois but I do not think they have one near Springfield. They have a good parts and service department in my opinion. I guess looking at distances they do have places with in 100 miles. I am near Macomb and it is about 84 miles from Springfield.

I recently purchased a 2018 JD 2025R at Sloans in Havana, IL. Worked with a young fellow named Nathan. Very easy to deal with and was very patient with me....a first time tractor buyer. Visited many other dealers around me both JD and others. Kept coming back to Sloans in Havana. Was quite impressed first time I walked in the door.

Agreed! I called 3 dealers in Central IL (3 Different brands) 2 dealers very close to my farm. Told them how I had 35K in cash looking to buy not this weekend but next...Never received a call back from any of them. Unbelievable!!!!'
Good grief, I understand the competition but if you don't want to talk to people, why be in business!
Its hard for me to shop for tractors down there because I am limited to the weekends and most are closed!
Ill buy one off EBAY before giving them my business!

I recently purchased a Kubota from Jenner Ag in Taylorville, I believe we both walked away reasonably satisfied. Only had one minor service need and it was taken care of in a timely manner.
