Gonna be a grandpa... need cradle plans...

My eldest daughter just presented me with a "I love Grandpa" picture frame. In it is a note from the doc telling her that her pregnancy test came back positive and her due date is March 28, 2006.

Well, I wasn't completely blind-sided. They were married in February and I know that she was wanting to get started on her family right away.

Now to the point. I do some minor, hobby woodworking. I want to build a cradle for my grand-kid-to-be. Anyone have any plans that a somewhat skilled woodworker with too many tools could handle?

Thanks for all the links, Hazmat. And congrats to you and the missus. I remember when we brought our first little one home from the hospital. It was the coldest day of the year - with the wind-chill it was colder than 40 below. The plants that my wife got as gifts in the hospital all froze in the 15 feet from the hospital to the car.

The nurse that helped us out to the car about froze, too. She was only wearing a sweater, while my wife and I fiddled around trying to figure out how to put a kid into the baby safety seat for the first time. You might want to practice that so you don't look like a total idiot like we did...
