Use to eat there about once a month, Great deal, wife who probably might be 100 pounds soaking wet could hit the food about 6 times. New deal is all you can eat baby back ribs on the menu for about $10.00. I never had baby back ribs until last year, Golf tournament next door catered lunch and my wife brought me a platter home, best thing since sliced bread. I have zero food service experience, but how can they provide such a fantastic deal for that amount of money? My daughter works at a new local high end food place, better eat a snack before going and be prepared to eat something when you get home. $19.99 for a smiggen of stir fried beef tips and rice... (tips are great thou). The local golden correl just has a fantastic layout for $10.00 and it is only about four miles away by tractor. I use the car.

I think I answered my own question, heard on the radio last year that popa johns pizza joint could produce a pizza at $1.77 per unit, a $9.00 pizza yeilds a lot of profit. McDonalds earn 2000% on soft drinks. Guess I'm in the wrong business (none).

It's all about buying in bulk and cooking in bulk.

Living in NH, I had never eaten at Golden Corral until a recent family trip to Florida for the week. We must have eaten their 4 or 5 times, it was great! I would love to have one closer.

We've been seeing the TV ads for the baby back ribs for about $10 at the Golden Corral, but haven't tried them yet. And while we don't go there real often, the Golden Corral is just hard to beat for good food and good prices. And CiCi's Pizza may not be the best pizza in the world, but it's good pizza, plus the salad bar and pasta and they have some of the best cinammon rolls and an apple dessert pizza, and their buffet price is just amazingly cheap. I think those two, Golden Corral and Cici's Pizza Buffet, are the best bargains in our area for eating out.

Golden Corral also offers free meal veteran's promotions on Veteran's Day and other discounts to retired and active duty military during various promotions. Their senior discounts are also awesome. Whatever diet you want, healthy or outrageous, you can find it at Golden Corral. I'm a fan!

Yep CiCi is a good deal too. Had 4 people visit from Ab last week, one to take my daughter to the prom. Took home 3 CiCi pizzes home one night, feeds 7 with leftovers for the next day. Just hope my daugher is not serious. Rough having my mother/father inlaws 8,000 miles away, don't need a son in law 9 hours a way.

On a pet peeve side, I hate the Direct TV adds for places to eat that are not avaible locally. We have no Joe's Crab shack, no Olive Garden, and many other places, i.e Sonic's. I have to watch these commercials daily and could'nt spend my money using them if I wanted too... They are all 100 miles away.

I don't think that happens for us, as far as eating places, since we have just about all of them, but we do still see K-Mart ads on TV and they're gone from this area. Joe's Crab Shack has some good crawfish etoufee, and since the Olive Garden is one of my wife's favorites, that's where the kids took us for Mother's Day. We have lots of Sonics and they have good food, but I avoid them because of having to order with that speaker system they have that my old bad hearing doesn't like.

Golden Correl must be run by a Navy Chief... Lots of broiled chicken, carving stations, seafood, Manger meets you at the door. All for $10.00. I once met a air force E-9 who retired from being a manager at Langly AFB... Idiot.

We don't eat out much. But when we do we like the Golden Corral also.

I don't know whether it's old age, pure meaness, or a combination of the two. But it irritates almost beyond measure to pay the prices they're asking for fast food.

I do go to Mickey D's for their "old people's coffee". Senior coffee at most McDonald's is twenty five to fifty cents and it's really good coffee.

I guess I'm getting old. I don't think twice about spending too much for too little when it comes to a tool or something for golf. But paying six dollars for a hamburger and drink at a fast food joint is enough to make me do without.
