Ok I have looked up and down and can't find what I'm looking for I'm having a issue with the oil leaking from the timing hole under the hydro pump:shocked:, so I found out by searching that there was a cotter pin drain hole, so I found it (I think) one I found was by what looks to be the trans fluid main drain. Is that the correct one?:confused3:
I have what I would call a decent leak from that hole and by the started it smells like gear oil thinking the trans and not engine. I check the oil level by pulling the plug beside the flush mounted slot head bolt on the pass side just above the floorboard I think it was 1" 1/8 hex head( really hope that was the right one) and got right at a gallon of fluid out
, when I check from the fill plug from the shifter plate it was all but 1/4"
from the top of the highest gear. Would that have caused my leak that I was having?:anyone:
And I know there is a lot about witch oils to use in the different sumps, but can some one give me those specs also.:confused3:
I'm sorry if I have re entered any treads I just couldn't find what I was looking for.:shhh:
I just bought this tractor and really like it and want to do my best to keep it functioning and living like it needs to.
Thanks for the help:dance1:
