Dealer going to the dealership tomorrow...any advice...

i got a number yesterday for a package deal from the dealer.

L3130HST filled R4 LA723 FEL w/ HD bucket, BB, RB and used cutter

spoke with the owner today to see if he could sharpen his pencil..... he said only if you are ready to finalize the sale. i said i will stop in tomorrow (saturday)

any advice??
anything else to ask for??
any concessions??

Hope you get as good a deal as you want… in any case you will have a tractor you will love /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif.

I’d just try to get the best price, and then after that try to nail down a firm delivery date…

get a free cup of coffee or two, if you want to try for extras… see if you can get shop manuals for your tractor and loader. They will prove to be very valuable…even if you have to pay full price for them. KennyV

You should be happy with the L3130 HST. I've had 3 old tractors through the years, that served a purpose, but my L3130 HST is a great machine.

Only thing I can think about are questions you may have on the tractor and implements. My dealer is 60 miles away and I've gone back twice to clear up questions I had on hydraulic dis-connects and atttachments. For some reason, I have trouble explaining problems over the phone - one to one contact works best for me. Last time I took some digital pictures of my problem along and the owner and one of his mechanics explained and solved my problem in less than 10 minutes.

Have fun with your machine - my wife of 44 years laughed last night and wondered while I was always taking pictures of the machine and attachments - some women just don't understand.
