I have another post about buyig a new machine. Here is where I am at.

L3800 with BH FEL and R4 tires for $26,525 plus tax and free delivery. To get the 60 months 0% on this particular model, I have to pay an extra 3% on the cost of the machine. That's about another $650 added on after I put a down payment of $5000 down. I have a BX22 with a belly mower that I am going to trade in. I still owe money on it. I was going to sell it outright, but they are going to give me $9500 trade in. The BX22 has 1700 hours on it, so I think that is a pretty good trade.

Any input on this? List price on Kubota's web site for a L3800 is $29,146.

I just got a L3800 with a FEL about two weeks ago and only paid 19,000 for it are you getting extra stuff with it?

No problem Yoitsio2, I do that allot myself. :) The BH is pricey, plus it's the newer BH77. So you think it's a pretty good deal? When I go up to the dealer, I am going to push to get a thumb thrown in or try to meet him halfway on the cost of the thumb, but we'll see how that goes.

What about the trade, sounds actually pretty good to me. At $9500, plus the tax I will be saving on the trade which is about $520, I am pretty much getting $10,200 on the trade if you look at it that way. Money is money.

Another question, is it worth getting the tires liquid filled? How can I find out how much weight that will add. I think the cost of getting them filled is $300 for the rear set.

Sounds like a great price on your trade and a good price on the new machine.

I think you would defiantly want to have your tires filled. The more weight the better with that BH trying to drag you backward. Plus it will give you a lower center of gravity in transport mode.

Yea thats about how much it is here at my dealer. I got it all priced out. I just have no need for a BH. But congrats on your new machine.

As to how much weight you will gain by filling the tires: if it has the 15-19.5 R4 industrial's on it. they should be about 27 gallons for 75% fill so 8.3lbs per gallon on water, RV antifreeze or Windshield Washer fluid, so about 224 lbs each. and if using Rimguard, about 10.7 to 11 lbs per gallon so about 290 lbs each. Check your tire size, there are charts on the internet if that wasnt the right size tire.

Thanks K0us. That is the tire size, so that is a good amount of weight. I believe they said it is rim guard, so I would gain almost 600lbs extra weight. That's a big plus. Now if I would get a nail in a tire, I assume it would leak out?

It sure will leak and you probably will have to have someone repair it, but I still put fluid in mine as the cost of weights is too much for me.
