After I backed tractor off trailer got to where I park it and glow light came on. Seems odd. Never had it come on after it started.

Maybe it had not had a chance to turn off yet? I have had in mine turn on normally at start up and then go off and then after I started come on a second time but only noticed that when it was fairly cold.

Well I have had it to where I turn the key then it comes on then goes off turn all the way and it starts tractors then may come on but does go off couple seconds later. This time ran it for 5 minutes and still was on

Going by the Kioti, schematic, the display unit pin 2 a 1/2 millimeter gray wire that feeds the lamp. It should not light after starting. Even though the glow plugs may "post glow" depending on temperature of the coolant. It should not power the lamp. The display unit is on the engine side of the firewall, the large module in the center to the right of the 3 relays. Before I replaced this expensive module, I would check for dirt water and connections. It is also possible the Bobcat may be somewhat different. One of the differences between the Kioti and the Bobcat is minor electrical wiring changes. So I cannot be sure without seeing a bobcat schematic. I would not have designed the circuit the way the Kioti is designed. I would have powered the lamp off of the output of the 70 amp relay that actually powers the glow plugs. but that is not the way it works. Even if you pulled the relay out the lamp would still cycle.

Mine will "post glow" for 2-5 seconds after its started but only when cold.

The Bobcat must be wired a little different than Kioti. The lamp will illuminate whenever power is sent to the Glow plug relay. All of the Bobcats have post glow built into the timer relay, will have post glow for a few seconds after start up unless engine coolant is well over 85F. Light should not stay on for 5 minutes.

They must be somewhat different, as the Kioti will also post-glow, but the light will not illuminate when this is occurring.

So my thoughts would be if the glow lamp is wired on to the output of the 70 amp glow relay on the Bobcat's and indicate the actual state of the relay (which in my opinion is the way it should work in the first place) Then I would replace that relay, as the contacts may be "sticking". The only way to know for sure is of course to measure the coil voltage to see if it is energized or is it just the contacts are sticky.

This got my curiosity going so pulled the schematic. The lamp is connected to output from relay to the glow plug (shows true state of the relay). Used my tractor today, at 80F pre-heat timer still kicked in & ran for 25 seconds then post glow after start-up for another 25 seconds.
