getting the G ready for a show

I'm headed out friday morning to drive a few counties north and hit an antique tractor show and parade.

I got the G gasses and serviced and ready to go. Got my 'saftey' gear ready.. ( spare gas can, air tank, extra battery and winch for emergiencies, jumper cables.. extra oil )

Can't wait till friday!

I usually get there early am and have breakfast with the other members as well.ually have biscuits and gravy and some god hot coffee. Great for a chilly morning.

The last 2 shows I went to at that club / meeting froze out. temps ere in the high 20's / low 30's and no body wanted to be outside. They didn't start the tractors and engines up till almost noon due to the wind..

This show looks like it will be a hair warmer..

Where's the show, I have a friend in Silver Springs this week and next, I can phone him to come by if he's close, he's at the antique bike auction tomorrow.

soundguy, Don't think there be any visibility problems with that workhorse.

So what year is (she?, It?). Allis G made from "48" to "55" .Looks a bit like an orange spider.

It's at the bradford county fairgrounds in starke florida ( north US 301 ) ( near waldo.. etc.. )

Show is friday and saturday.

Saw a show not too long ago on the RFD channel. They were showing a parade of tractors like the one in the photo. I believe it was an Allis-Chalmers parade.

Nice piece of machinery...imagine what was going through the engineer's mind when it was designed.
