Getting Redy to make hay w/ DK50 HST

Hey all i'm getting ready to make a 3rd cutting of hay w/ my DK50 HST. This will be my first attempt on my own w/ all my own equipment. I alredy had a sickle bar and rake, just use to have someone bale it for me. Now tomorrow evening Im going to pick up a HS 8 Tedder and an old Crimper thats free. Sunday I will be going to get a New Holland 66 Baler that is to work great. Guy is going to show me it baling and tieing. Can't wait to tackle this on my own for the first time.

Chance of a shower tomorrow so I will be waiting to finish cut it all down Friday and Saturday. Looking at baling next Monday or Tuesday.

Just excited and wanted to post. I will post pics hopfully next week of the process.

Whit, ain't it a little late to be bale'n hay?:laughing:

I could have got 4 cuttings this year, but have been so busy building the house I let the last one go. I have rolled over 300 4x4 bales with a Hesston 530 this year. It's an old baler and the main shaft tore up the first of the season, but since we rebuilt it it has been turning some real nice tight rolls. I keep drooling over the Krone KR125 baler that the Coop has sitting in on the lot, but it will be a looong time before I have $17K rattling around in my pocket
