I decided to change the fuel filter on my 1997 2120 when installing the block heater because the filter had to be moved anyway. I opened the bleed screw on the ip (regular screwdriver) and let fuel come out until the air bubbles stopped. I then wanted to bleed the lines at the injectors to make sure and loosened all 4 17mm fittings. I cranked the engine over for about 5 seconds at a time maybe 10-15 times. Throughout all of this, the injector at the rear of the engine was the only one that ever got fuel. I finally closed them all and got the engine running, hard at first but then back to normal. My question is whether I can check if the other 3 lines are even getting fuel now? I would think they are with the tractor running good again, but it is a new tractor to me so I would like to be sure. Can I crack the lines individually with the tractor running to check or will this cause any damage. I have had experience changing nozzles and removing/installing these in VW diesels, but not with tractors until today.

If the tractor is running smoothly on all 4 cylinders, You are getting fuel to the injectors, leave the lines alone. If the tractor is running smoothly at shutdown prior to a fuel filter change, there is no need to bleed the high pressure side (injector lines) of the fuel system. Bleed the filter head first, then the injector pump before touching the key. Your tractor should start and run properly if the bleeding is done correctly and there is no obstruction to fuel flow.
