Getting clutch back in LK3054

I had to split my LK3054 again. Adjusted the set bolts for the PTO clutch. I'm trying for the second time to put back together...first time was to replace the drive clutchplate. When I put it back together the first time (just a week or so ago) I slid the clutch assembly and the PTO clutch up up on the splines then pushed the tractor back together and reached through the opening where the steering wheel bolts on to bolt it up to the flywheel. Not having any luck doing it this way this time. So, I bolted it on the flywheel and can't get the splines to go in.
Is there a such thing as a line up tool for this tractor?
Or what other advice could anyone give?

If you do not have one, you have to make one. Since I have a hard time
throwing anything away, I have numerous wood and plastic alignment tools.
Sometimes I turn down a piece of wood dowel to do that.

I would take the measurements of the pilot bearing ID and the spine shaft
OD and make one. You can also go to your local auto parts store and buy
one....sometimes they even have one that works as-is. If they have one
that is too small or too big, you can modify it to get it to work.
