SO did my first haying for the third cutting. Learning curve is certainly there.
Today bought a hay wagon, a tedder is the next goal by may.
The horses are eating my hay!! Sometimes with enthusiasm, sometimes not so much. Had it analyzed - it came in dead center on all the nutritional measures, lacking nothing and rated very good for palatability.
Other than the knotter on the NH276, all is going well. It's a winter project to get it functional..sat too long and gummed up then seized and well, things hit things and bent things.
Been distracted from working on it with 2 new cub cadets (ok, so 22 and 46 years new), but now can till the market garden. Planted the garlic for next year and prepped the new space, more than doubling the garden.
The horse arena if also finally complete. Been a year of as-time-allows.
Next big project is a hoop house -for gardening, plant starting and hay storage.
