Gear boxes after market

I think it was in this forum that someone posted a source for heavy duty after market gear boxes that might be used on a rotary mower. I am repairing a 13 foot side winder so you see my problem ( one of the outboard boxes exploded due to stress and age). I found a sidewinder single box machine post highway department but the blade carrier shaft is too short. This is a reinforced area where the box bolts to plate about 2 inches above the top cover. Thanks in advance for any information... looks like a new box is my only repair. Old machine but too good to salvage.

there is a seller on Ebay that handles replament boxes and his internet store is full of varous boxes,
