Gear box for a woods mower needs replacing

My Neighbor has a appx 10yr woods mower that needs a gear box and Coleman in Bonner Springs quoted one for little over 2K new. The two internal gears are about 1200 for both and the rest is seals and bearings etc.

Can anyone point me in the right direction for a gear box from a salvage mower ?
