My gc2610 steering wheel will continue to turn (with some force) even though the wheels are turned all the way. Right or left it does not matter. Is this normal?

Are you sure the wheel will continue to turn past the range of the wheels? The only reason I am asking again is that I am going to my dealer tommorrow to look at a rototiller and he is 1 1/2 away. I do not want to transport the machine if I do not need to. The dealer said to bring it in because they are not sure. Smething about an orbitol motor. I am looking for a real world comparison to another machine. Thanks again

Yes, the steering wheel is NOT mechanically attached to the wheels. It does not know how far the wheels have turned, or that they are at the stops.

It is hydraulic. So, it is the same as when the lever that moves your Loader still moves, when the bucket has reached the limit.

Mine does not continue....unless you really crank hard on it, even then it's hard.

Yes the turn is normal. Crank any of them to full lock on the wheels and just put constant pressure on the wheel and they sitll turn, not fast but they all still turn. My 2600 does it as well as my father Kubota.
