Hello all,
I recently rebuilt my loader control valve. I had disconnected the power beyond hoses at the rear of the tractor to run them in a better location. When I finished putting things back together, I forgot to reconnect the power beyond hoses. I started the tractor and then realized my mistake. I shut off the tractor and connected the power beyond. When I restarted the tractor I have no hydraulics to the FEL or the 3pt hitch. The power beyond hoses feels lie there is no flow through it. I know the connections are correct, I believe I have an air lock in the hydro pump. Does anyone have a way to get the hydraulics flowing? Thanks or the help

Bleed the pump, should be a bleeder bolt on the side of it.

Do you have a manual? Should be listed under trans / hydraulic service info ?!

Thanks, yes I have a manul but makes no mention of bleeding the pump. I will look at it. Also, I though these were open systems and self bleeding? Either way I will check it out. Thanks

If you have no hyd, install a gage and move a valve lever, and if nothing happens, then check the pump shaft. If your deadhead did not blow the pump, it could have sheared the shaft.

Yes,most hyd system should self bleed if it can pick up the prime.

Thanks JJ. just an FYI, I have hydro to drive the tractor, just no hydraulics.

What I meant was do you have hyd to power the attachments.

If you have a separate pump to power the attachments, then you need to start at the pump and make sure it is turning. If you have to, pull the pump and look at the shaft.

If all that is good, then check all the filters and see if the pump will prime.

What's the best way to prime the pump? I believe that is the issue. It sucked a whole lot of air the quit.
Thanks again.

There might be a bleed port on the pump.

Try about 5 lbs of air in the tank.

If there is an in tank filter remove it and clean.

A bleeder screw is on the pump. Check your manual.

Call your dealer, ask Tech where tye bleeder is.
