GC2310 fluid leak

My GC2310 has about 77 hours I noticed recently hydraulic fluid leaking around the connection shaft where the hydrostatic drive linkage connects on the rear differential. This shaft is located a few inches to the rear of the hydraulic filter location. I assume there is a problem with the seal on the shaft the loss of fluid is greater the warmer the fluid gets.
I was wondering if anyone else may have experienced a leak around the hydrostatic shaft? If so was it a major repair?http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif
