Hi all,
Has anyone made or come across a custom skid plate for the 2300 (I'm not talking about hydraulic filter protection)? Was working in tall grass last weekend and it wrapped itself around the drive shaft, wrecking the seal where the shaft enters the rear drive unit (leaks hydraulic like a sieve, now). Yes, my tractor has been incapacitated by grass
. There's something fundamentally wrong with that concept... I've also heard about the plastic fan on the shaft being destroyed by sticks etc. popping up underneath. A plate of some description would prevent both of these things from happening. Thoughts?
