Any one have a tooth bar on thier GC2300 or GC2310 and if so where did you get it? As stated before, I'm going with the GC2310 with mmm and don't have any black top to scratch so I'll probably leave it on all the time. Also, can you bolt on some lift hooks to the top of the loader bucket instead of welding them on? I know you would want to use the strongest bolts possible (grade 8) so they wouldn't shear off (or am I asking for trouble) /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I bought the tooth bar when I purchased the tractor.

I also have a pce of square tubing Bolted to the top of
the bucket with the hooks welded to the tubing.
Works for me..

That's a good idea with the square tube. You could make up different hook spacings without weakening the bucket. Did the tooth bar have Massey part number or was it an aftermarket brand and if so what brand was it so I can get one also please.

I can not answer this one as it all can as a group , the tooth bar I think is a after market one .. and most of the time it sets in the corner of my garage ,, I like the smoth edge of the buck to flatten and smoth dirt.

I got one from Carver. It's manufactured by W.R. Long. Good quality but spendy ($300!) Once again, I justified it by telling myself I'd have and use it for a long, long (no pun intended) time. Here's a picture of it during installation. I can't tell you about the hooks, but I'll be interested to see what responses you get. Happy digging...

I see from the photo that looks like a quality product due to the indevidually replaceable teeth. ( they look like they're held in by pins? ). Once I get the inside dimention of the loader bucket width, I can shop around... $150 without replaceable teeth could mean time on the welder I could be working so it's probably worth the extra $$.

Electrical, There is also another place to check on toothbars it called markham welding and they are good to deal with lots of the guys myself included bought from them. They take your inside bucket measurement about 6"-8" back from cutting edge and make one for you at a price thats hard too beat! Their design also incorporates replaceable teeth. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
