I hose the dirt/mud off with nearly every use. Personally, I enjoy keeping the equipment as clean and new looking as possible. I also spot paint and paint the platform and pedals about once a year. Also wax once a year. Am very proud of my machines since I spent years using wheelbarrows and shovels.

Mine is built for digging in dirt, rock, mud, whatever. I do that all the time with it.

Every once in a while, I hose it off and dry it in the sun. There are two things that prompt me to do this.

1. The tires get muddy and track mud into the garage. Easier to keep it out than to clean it out.

2. The operator seat & floor gets dusty enough that I am going to start tracking it into the house.

Otherwise, I let nature take its course.

Now I do wash the sports car...

Maybe, I know where there is a beautiful 4300 calling your name! Yours does not look bad at all, how many hours were on it?

1415 as of Saturday........I have been slowly replacing little worn out parts since I got her........pins for the backhoe, new hoses for the backhoe, tires, new front wheels, other than that just filters and oil. It looks like a machine should that has 1415 well cared for hours on it.

I'm with Ralph and Curly Dave. An air hose, occasional water hose, and a wash mitt maybe once a year. I told myself that I would worship the thing but I've never waxed it. I quickly found that time spent on the tractor should be exactly that: Time spent on the tractor doing something! I console my guilt with the thought that dealers, and many others, leave them outside all year long...and I would never do that.

I have never washed a tractor as much as I have my new 3720 Cab. The windows get very dirty fast, and I hate windshield wiper marks..... I would guess Mine gets washed every 10 hours of use, unless the windows need it before then.......

You know, i need to clean the inside and outside of my windows! I totally forgot - enjoying myself too much.
