Tractor Sizing gas tank size from the 1500 to the 2500 series

why is the gas tank so much smaller on the 2500 series and can you mow 2 acres on 1 tank

Its a little smaller, 3 gallon vs 2 1/4 I believe. Its the hydro design I believe. The 2000 series have a lot more hardware for the rearend and I think that takes up fuel space. Yes, you can mow 2 acres on a tank.

If I remember correctly, my 2544 does close to 1.5acres per gallon.
