What adapter do I need to connect this Gorilla Cart pin to the 2" receiver on my RTV500?

I use something like this without the hitch ball.

What you have to do on the cart end is to remove the pins that hold the round handle. Flip it 180 degrees and reattach with the pins. Now you will have a "U" shape to attach to the receiver hitch ball mount above. I use a long pin and avoid needing to attach a cotter pin. It will look similar to a standard cart coupler like this

This is how it will look hooked up to what you're pulling it with.

Easy peasy.

Here's how my sprayer looks hooked up to my Mule.

Before getting your hitch ball mount, hold it up to the receiver and determine what degree of drop you need to make the cart level. I found the 1/2 inch drop worked for me. If something else is too low, you can always flip it to make the same degree of lift instead of drop.

Are there any specific pin / hole sizes I should be aware of?

Some may think I'm crazy, but I hate those pin hitches, lots of slop and noise. I've replaced ALL my lawn tow-ables with 1-7/8" ball couplers and put a 1-7/8" ball on all my riders like the lawn tractors and ztrs. It's a little more cost, but I've found it works much better. Plus, I can jockey my small boat trailers around w/ the lawn tractor or ztr with ease. With the new MF SCUT, a 3PH receiver and a multi-ball drawbar will adapt to all those as well, plus be able to move my bigger trailers around that are too big for the lawn tractor/ztr. This is what works best for me!

The great thing about having a 2" receiver is that one can set up different mounts and quickly switch between them. I use the flat bar shown above, a hook, a clevis, and one set up with a 2" ball one one side, 1 7/8 on the flip side. I use them on the truck, Mule, and Kubota tractor. I've found them at yard sales mostly. Very inexpensive that way.

Pin sizes.... you'll have to measure the diameter of the holes on the cart side to get the right width pin. I think mine is 4"-5" long with a large handle and I find I don't need to put a cotter pin to keep it in place. The hole on the receiver mount is larger than the cart holes will be. As frugalangler mentioned, it will have a lot of slop in the fit, but unless you'll be on the highway with it, it should be fine.

Michael, are you good now? You get your questions answered?

Pretty much. Thank you.

The hitch pin on the Gorilla Cart is 3/8".

I was sort of hoping to find something like that ball-mount, except with a smaller hole.

I bolted a coupler to the tongue:

You are a resourceful guy.

OP, glad you got it figured out. For the weight involved, I would think you could always drill a smaller hole behind the existing hole in the mount if the existing hole is too large. However, I found a little slop isn't a bad thing, just a little noisier.
