Hi All,
My throttle arm likes to (quickly) drop the engine down to lower rpm's and not stay put at the full open position. When set to full throttle, it will drop down as soon as its let go of. I've been driving around with a makeshift solution of a board wedged from my seat to the rubber grip on the throttle arm to hold it at the full throttle position...it tends to fall off throughout my mowing...stop, reposition, keep going... I've gotten used to it, but the weather is nice now and its time for a fix.
Can anyone point me in the right direction for troubleshooting? I've looked up this symptom in general, and it seems some machines have a tension bolt at the bottom of the arm that needs to be tightened. Is that the case with Kubotas?
I'm attacking the problem this weekend, so I'll let you know how it pans out.
