I just bought a 97 G1900S that has a rear PTO that drives a roto tiller attachment. I have no literature, other than a parts breakdown,on the rear PTO. My question is what lubricant does this rear PTO take? Also do you fill it to the bottom of the fill hole? I cannot find any plug to remove to check the level other than the fill plug.
BTW - I'm extremely impressed with the G1900S. The unit I bought had less than 300 hours. I had been using a 1972 Cub Cadet 149 for the last 20 years. The G1900 saves me about 1/2 the time now to mow my 3 acres here in North Texas.
