I'm learning more and more about this tractor and I love it. We just had a monster storm and the snow was 12" over the top off my blower. One big problem is traction and I seriously need a set of tire chains. The other problem is the front driveshaft blew off twice on me. It looks to have been a problem for the previous owner as it was jury rigged and beat to ****. The angle is seriously steep and I have no idea why it was designed this way.

The front PTO had 2 small grooves ground out of it so the front PTO detent balls lock onto the front shaft. The Universals were welded out of phase on the blower to PTO shaft which is a big issue. The front knuckle that attaches to the blower shaft is missing the woodriff key and it sloppy. I get a lot of knocking and slapping when the blower is unloaded. I try to keep it lower RPM's, loaded and no lift on the blower but I need to left it when it catches up on the ground.

Is there a place to buy new parts or maybe I should be looking into modifying a CV joint instead of this POS?
