Full cabs on grand L series

Just for kicks I've been dreaming about an L4610 and was attracted to the cab, mostly for winter snow clearing which can be very unpleasant when the wind is blowing the wrong way and the snow blower discharge comes back in your face.

Anyway, I was shocked by the price. It's abut $7000. Anyone have one and care to comment on it's value? Is it really worth that much? Also, can you still use a backhoe with one?

Aesthetic dreams ... financial nightmares. Doesnt sound nearly worth it to me, even if I wanted one, which I dont. Patrick of Oklahoma has the 4610 with cab and has moaned a lot about its apparent incompatibility with a backhoe.

I have one on an L3600

I'm convinced it was worth every penny. AC in the summer, Heat in the winter, front and back wipers, front windshield wash, rear window defrost, two side mirrors, front and back auxiliary lights, am/fm/cd. Keeps the bugs away in the summer, and keeps the cold away in the winter.

I've checked a couple places, and no one makes a back hoe that will fit an L series with a cab - actually the backoes fit, you just won't be able to sit in the seat cause that's where the back window is.

Two downsides I can think of:
If you are larger than the average american male it could be a little small.
I can't go plowing into my woods willy nilly like I could with the old ford 900. I don't want to poke a hole in the top, or break some glass.
