Can I get you LS guys to check your caps and compare to Oz's pic above. Can you all confirm whether or not there is a little pin hole in the center of that relief disk?

May this better I don't see a hole just a mark.

There is no hole there. This cap is an assembly as most are where there is a valve inside for safety and it opens when it needs to. The older caps such as Ford N series and IH H and M, etc. just had a hole in them but for the last thirty years they have put valves inside the caps.
